Media's role in strengthening accountability

A recording of this webinar which took place on 26 June is now available.  The Center for International Media Assistance in partnership with LenCD organised a live online discussion about raising the profile of media in the context of the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals. This interactive discussion for both newcomers to the media development field and seasoned professionals addressed strategies the international community is using to put media on the development agenda.

Mark Nelson is a former journalist and development specialist who has written extensively on aid effectiveness, governance and the role of media in development.

Quinn McKew is the Deputy Executive Director at Article 19. She is responsible for global operations and governance including the integration of 8 regional offices and 50+ regional partner organizations.

Magnus Ag is Advocacy and Communications Officer at the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).
